Earlier this month, Google brought official support for the screen casting function in Chromecast to the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact. Well now Google has expanded that support to a few more Sony devices including the Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet and Verizon’s Xperia Z3v.
The “Cast Screen” function can mirror what is being displayed on your phone to your television. Simply open the Chromecast App and select “Cast Screen” from the navigation drawer. Then select your Chromecast to start casting. It’s great to see a number of Sony flagship devices supported, especially as this feature is still in beta.
